Lee Johnson explains exactly what makes 'relentless' Bristol City attacker Andi Weimann special

Bristol City made it three wins from three at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon, following a pulsating 3-2 victory in South Yorkshire.

Andi Weimann was the hero for the travelling side as he netted three times: a glancing header on 30 minutes, a back post volley on 77 minutes before a half-volley was swept in for the winning score with seven minutes remaining.

And the head coach had his say on City's outstanding Austrian as the Robins replicated the same scoreline achieved at the Blades last season.

Surprisingly, it wasn't the 27-year-old's form in front of goal that caught head coach Lee Johnson's eye.

"I don't want to kill it but I thought his work rate was the best part of his game today," said Johnson.

"Three great goals but you wouldn't want to play against him.

"He's going to run forward and then he's going to run backward with you. He's just relentless with his running power.

"And when he does things like that then nobody serves it more," added Johnson of the former Aston Villa forward who scored his first City hat-trick.

How much is promotion to the Premier League worth? What Bristol City, Leeds United and Aston Villa are fighting for

Johnson felt that his side were unlucky to concede two goals - claiming that Billy Sharp's opener could have been ruled out for a push.

Both of the Blades goals came from headers as Sharp and Scott Hogan netted in either half.

"We felt it was a foul," said Johnson of Sharp's fifth-minute goal.

'This is our club, we should be so proud' - what Bristol City fans are saying after a brilliant victory at Sheffield United

"From one of the two big chances that they scored from and that's the quality that they've got, but we're disappointed we didn't get a foul.

"I thought it looked soft but we might have to look at it again.

"But Sheffield United are one of the best at set-pieces - the way they move you about, the aggression they attack the ball with -  so we knew we'd have to score two or three today. That was the message: to be consistent and have belief.

"The fans drove us on."
