Shamrock Rovers defender Lee Grace is set to stay at the club after they confirmed their 2020 squad today.
Grace, 26, spent three days with Hull City two weeks ago after his contract ran out with the Hoops.
But Tigers boss Grant McCann admitted that he is already well-stocked with centre-halves, one of whom is former Cork City man Sean McLoughlin.
There was also interest from League One and League Two clubs in Grace, but the former Galway defender has returned to Rovers.
Grace will join new signing Liam Scales at the back for Stephen Bradley's side this season after the centre-half moved to Tallaght from relegated UCD, after a proposed move of his own to Bristol Rovers fell through over the summer.
Two notable names left out are striker Graham Cummins, who was not kept on after his loan spell from Cork City expired, and right-back Ethan Boyle, who has headed north to join Linfield.
