Lee Fromm, the mother of Georgia football quarterback Jake Fromm, had a few words for the person running the Georgia Tech Barstool Twitter account on Tuesday.
For those unaware, Barstool Sports launched a network of team Twitter accounts for just about every college in America that are run by local college students within the past couple of years.
It is fairly common for students using the Georgia and Georgia Tech oriented accounts to banter with each other over upcoming contests, news and school buzz in general, so the following should not be a surprise.
On Tuesday, the Georgia Tech Barstool account known as ‘Barstool GT’ posted a tweet making fun of Fromm’s bow-tie at SEC Media Days.
Fromm wore a salmon-colored bow-tie with his suit at the event and was given praise amongst media members for the look.
However, ‘Barstool GT’ was quick to point out that the two-time SEC East division and state champion had a clip-on tie, or so it thought.
That’s when Lee chimed in with this clever response to the pocket protector wearing Yellow Jacket.
Of course, this all but ended the talking from the Tech student, who probably went back to practicing Hess’ Law chemistry problems and stoichiometry with his TI-Inspire calculator instead.
