The Alabama Crimson Tide are heavy favorites against home squad Texas for Week 2’s biggest matchup. ESPN’s College GameDay was onsite in Austin for the festivities as unranked Texas (+20.5) attempts to knock off No. 1 Bama.
The Longhorns are hovering right around 21-point underdogs depending on which book you check, and it’s going to take a huge effort from Texas QB Quinn Ewers and the defense to have a hope at knocking off the Tide.
Unsurprisingly, this made Lee Corso’s job pretty easy this week. The panel was nearly unanimous (only the guest picker went with the homer pick … more on that in a minute):

The summer of Glen Powell continues as the breakout star of the massive blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick joined the cast of ESPN’s College GameDay as Week 2’s celebrity guest picker. Powell, an Austin native and huge Longhorns fan, aligned with Corso on every pick except going with Baylor over Corso’s BYU and Corso’s marquee pick of Bama over his hometown Texas.
