Lee Bowyer: Charlton players can't relax because they've won two games

Lee Bowyer has warned Charlton are not out of the woods yet in their battle to stay in the Championship.

Back-to-back 1-0 wins since the restart has lifted the Addicks up to 18th, but they are still only three points above the relegation zone.

Charlton are in action at play-off hopefuls Cardiff on Tuesday and boss Bowyer said: “We are not out of it yet, we have to keep fighting until the end. I do not let the players relax and let them think that is it. Just because you have had a good performance, it does not mean everything is rosy.

“We have got a lot of teams around us and you have to be at it every day. That is in training too, because if you come off it in training, it will show in matches.

“They are a good group and they want to work hard, but I will be reminding them that we need to go again because there are three points at stake tonight.”
