Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer has stated the Premier League needs to see Leeds United back in the top-flight due to their fantastic support.
The former Whites midfielder has made no secret of his admiration for Leeds and has been touted by many as a future manager at Elland Road.
While there is some uncertainty around the end of the season due to the coronavirus crisis, Bowyer is adamant Leeds will secure promotion if the campaign resumes.
"I'm delighted for Leeds. To be fair, they deserve to go up as they are the best side in our division," he told TalkSport.
"They narrowly missed out last season and Aston Villa went up. I'd love to see them go up, I think they deserve to be in the Premier League.
"I think the Premier League needs Leeds, it needs their support. It's a great atmosphere, a great ground to play at.
"I have no doubt if we do finish the season, they will be in the top two as they're the best side in the league."
