Here is your Tottenham morning digest for Tuesday, March 2nd.
King provides Mourinho insight
Ledley King admits he is loving life back in the nitty gritty of first team life at Tottenham Hotspur as he learns to be a coach under Jose Mourinho.
King's long association with Spurs has taken him from captain, to academy coach and to club ambassador, before Mourinho brought him into his first-team coaching crew, and he's enjoying his time.
"It's been a difficult time for everybody away from football, in general, but for me I've loved every minute of this," he said to Tottenham's social media channels.
"Coming back into football, in the thick of things, being on the training pitch every day and in the stadium. It's great. Obviously we miss the fans. It will be great to finally get them back in when we do."
Bale shows Spurs he's back
Gareth Bale was back in the groove for Tottenham on Sunday with a starring performance in the Premier League victory over Burnley.
The Welsh international has been heavily criticised this season but has caught the eye with his recent performances, both domestically and in the Europa League.
Apart from his goals, there were other moments that impressed and brought back memories of the time he tortured Inter Milan's Maicon and his remarkable goal for Real Madrid against Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final.
Check out all the talking points.
Vazquez to leave Real Madrid
Lucas Vazquez is set to leave Real Madrid this summer and it could be of interest to Tottenham, who have previously been linked with his services, reports state.
ABC declares cash-trapped Los Blancos cannot afford to finance a new deal and, as a result, he is set to be available on a free transfer when the summer window opens.
ABC claims the 29-year-old Spain international wants a new, long-term deal worth about £160,000 a week.
But it has been reported that Real can't meet those demands and are instead said to be looking for the player to take a pay cut, which raises the likelihood of an exit.
