Led Zeppelin’s 1976 album Presence was recorded under difficult circumstances. Robert Plant was recovering from the injuries he had received in a serious car accident the year before, and had to record his vocals from his wheelchair. The album received mixed reviews, which seems faintly incredible for a record containing Achilles’ Last Stand, Tea for One and Nobody’s Fault But Mine.
It’s one of the three Zeppelin records – alongside In Through the Out Door and Coda – that gets the full remaster/reissue treatment next month, and we’ve got this previously unreleased version of Hots on for Nowhere from the Presence reissue for your listening pleasure. Sadly, listeners outside the UK can’t hear it, but if you can listen, do let us know what you think.
