The LEC Summer Split 2026 is almost here, bringing back the fan-favorite format while raising the stakes as teams battle for qualification to the League of Legends World Championship 2026.
Running from July 24 to Sept. 20, the split features an expanded regular season, multiple Roadtrip events, and the LEC Summer Finals in Nice, France. Here’s everything you need to know about the LEC Summer Split 2026.
LEC Summer Split 2026 format
The Summer Split retains the same competitive structure introduced during Spring.
All 10 LEC teams will compete in a single round robin regular season, with every match played as a best-of-three. Once the regular season concludes, the top six teams will advance to the Playoffs.
The postseason features a seeded double-elimination bracket, with every series played as a best-of-five. Teams must survive the bracket to qualify for the LEC Summer Finals and keep their hopes of reaching Worlds alive.
LEC Summer Split 2026 schedule
The Summer Split runs from July 24 through Sept. 20, spanning nine consecutive weeks without a break.
Regular season
The regular season begins on July 24 and concludes on Aug. 30.
For the first six weeks, the LEC will feature two best-of-three series each day across four broadcast days, Friday through Monday, except during Roadtrip weekends. The final day of the regular season will feature three best-of-three matches, potentially deciding the final playoff spots.
Matches played at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin begin at:
- 8am ET / 7am CT on standard two-match days.
- 5am ET / 4am CT on the final three-match day.
Playoffs
The LEC Summer Playoffs begin on Sept. 5 and conclude on Sept. 20. Each playoff day features one best-of-five series beginning at 11am ET /10am CT.
The final three days of competition take place during the LEC Summer Finals in Nice, France.
- Sept. 18: Final Worlds qualification match.
- Sept. 19: Determines the No. 1 and No. 2 LEC seeds for Worlds.
- Sept. 20: Grand Final and opening ceremony.
LEC Summer Split 2026 Roadtrips
Two Roadtrip events return this split, taking LEC matches outside Berlin and into packed arenas across Europe.
Paris Roadtrip
Dates: July 24 to 26
The Summer Split opens in Paris, where Karmine Corp hosts the first Roadtrip at the adidas Arena.

Madrid Roadtrip
Dates: Sept. 5 to 6
The first weekend of Playoffs heads to Madrid, hosted by Movistar KOI.
Saturday features two best-of-five series, while Sunday begins with the Liga Española de League of Legends (LES) Finals before another LEC playoff series closes out the weekend.
The first match on Saturday begins at 5 am CT. The LEC Summer Finals will take place at the Palais Nikaia in Nice, France, from Sept. 18 to 20.
How to buy LEC Summer Split 2026 tickets
Tickets for the first three weeks of the Summer Split are already available on the website, with standard entry priced at €15. Riot Games will release the next batch of tickets on July 15.
Fans should also keep a few things in mind before booking. Week five of the regular season will be played on the new broadcast-first Studio Stage, while Friday and Monday match days in Berlin will not have a live audience to accommodate the expanded schedule and Roadtrip events.
Moreover, fans who want to attend the Paris Roadtrip, Madrid Roadtrip, or the LEC Summer Finals in Nice will also need to purchase separate tickets for those events.
