LeBron was so pumped about Bronny’s championship-sealing dunk

It was quite the weekend in Las Vegas for Basketball Dad LeBron James, and it ended with a celebration.

The Lakers star made the trip to Vegas to watch his 14-year-old son, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., compete in the Big Time Hoops tournament with the North Coast Blue Chips. The weekend represented Bronny’s final tournament with the team that he had played with since fourth grade.

And Bronny made that final weekend count.

After watching his dad throw down dunks in the layup line, Bronny himself showed off some dunks in the game. With a minute to go, he essentially sealed the championship with a one-handed dunk to put the Blue Chips up 20. Just look at LeBron’s reaction.

He was hyped.

The Blue Chips took the 14U Invite championship, and the elder LeBron was especially proud of the team. He gave every member a shoutout on Instagram to celebrate the three-peat title.

Bronny also plays up an age level with the Strive For Greatness travel team. He plans to play high school basketball next year as a ninth grader at Sierra Canyon (Calif.).
