LeBron’s signature Nike shoes were well represented at Cleveland Cavaliers at media day

As Cleveland Cavaliers owner, Dan Gilbert, attempts to build a winning franchise for the first time without LeBron James, several of his players stepped onto Cleveland Clinic Courts in Independence, Ohio on Monday wearing LeBron’s signature Nike shoes. This year marks the second Cavaliers media day since James left for the Los Angeles Lakers following the 2017-18 season. But the best player in the history of the franchise was well represented even though he was two time zones away.

While meeting the media for the first time this season, Tristan Thompson, Collin Sexton and rookie Darius Garland all stepped onto the court wearing LeBron’s signature Nike’s. Represented among the trio of Thompson, Sexton and Garland were the “China Moon” LeBron 7s, “South Beach” LeBron 8s and “South Beach” LeBron 9 PS. Tristan and Darius both share the same agent as LeBron in Klutch Sports while Sexton is currently represented by CAA.

After being selected by Cleveland in the same draft as Kyrie Irving, Tristan is now entering his ninth season with the Cavaliers. Following a strong second half of his rookie campaign last year, Sexton is about to begin his second year in the NBA. Meanwhile, Garland will make his professional debut when the season tips off against the Orlando Magic on October 23 after being selected by Cleveland with the fifth pick in the draft this past summer.
