LeBron openly ponders whether ‘basketball is the most important thing’ for Lakers

LeBron James openly wondered about the focus of his teammates only a few days after the release date of ‘Space Jam 2,’ which films this summer, was announced.

This of course created its own firestorm among both Lakers fans and NBA fans at large, as they see the question James posed about his teammates following last night’s brutal loss to New Orleans as a contradictory one. Of course, James finished with 27 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds, but the optics of the situation are tough for LeBron.

While James’ interest off the court do get a great deal of attention, he’s stated in multiple forums that he strives to keep ‘the main thing the main thing.’ With the amount of money and time James puts into his body, it’s foolish to assume he’s not an NBA player first and everything else later.

But as stated above, even if that is the truth, the perception that James left his teammates out to dry and then criticized them for some of the same questions people have him will only fuel the doubt about whether this Lakers season can be saved at all.
