LeBron on amazing pass to Mike Miller: ‘Don’t try this at home’

LeBron James is one of, if not the greatest passer that the game has ever seen. His ability to hit people accurately where they need to catch the ball for their shot from essentially whatever angle is necessary is one of the toughest things for players to do consistently, though there are quite a few who come close. Still, his size, strength, and vision allows him to create angles where others could not. On Sunday, he shared one of those passes and discussed it on Twitter.

James came across an old clip of a running one-handed pass that he made against the Indiana Pacers, that he threw on his way down from the jump to a wide-open Mike Miller. He then added a disclaimer for kids not to try it at home during the quarantine.

The Pacers pushed the Heat to seven games in the 2013 Conference Finals, in what was a surprisingly entertaining series considering the Heat were favorites. And while it isn’t remembered with the same reverence that LeBron’s Boston battles are, those Pacers teams often brought out the best in LeBron’s Heat.
