LeBron: My game fits with Jordan but wish I could compete against him

Don’t get all of the reverence coming from LeBron James about Michael Jordan and other NBA legends over the years mixed up. He absolutely respects their legacies and what they did for the game, but if he ever had the opportunity, LeBron would love to play against them, including Jordan himself. LeBron himself had to clarify that fact on Monday night after his interview following ‘The Last Dance’ on UNINTERRUPTED finally posted.

LeBron did address a viral photo with him and Jordan playing on the same court, saying that he played on the same team as Jordan at Jordan’s camp in California. And his statement that their styles mesh would mesh well became the focus of ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, but LeBron quickly set him straight on what he meant.

LeBron definitely wants everyone on his teams to get along well, but he’s also incredibly competitive, like all of the NBA greats. That he wishes he could have a shot against them on the court is one of the similarities he shares with all of the greats who came before him, but he never mixes that desire with disrespect.
