LeBron makes tough reverse lay-up, sets up Caruso buzzer-beater

Although he and nobody from the NBA will be talking for the remainder of their time in China, LeBron James gave the fans in attendance in China plenty to talk about with some of his plays in the first half of the Los Angeles Lakers’ second preseason matchup with the Brooklyn Nets.

With Anthony Davis getting the start at center, LeBron had no problem getting to the basket and had this very difficult reverse lay-up against the Nets in Saturday’s game in Shenzhen, China.

James then capped off the quarter with a drive-and-kick assist to guard Alex Caruso in the corner, who knocked in the buzzer-beater 3-pointer. The Lakers led 22-20 at the end of the quarter thanks to Caruso’s 3-pointer.

Through the three preseason games so far this year for the Lakers, James and Anthony Davis have been the only constants for the team in the starting line-up. Frank Vogel continues to shuffle through line-ups as promised to find the right combinations to surround the two Lakers superstars. Considering how he’s handled the preseason, Vogel will likely continue to shift things around his two superstars when the Lakers continue their preseason schedule on Monday back in Los Angeles.
