LeBron links up with high school teammates at Cleveland restaurant

LeBron James was back in Cleveland over the weekend. While there were no hoops on the agenda, James spent his time reuniting with his high school basketball teammates from St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron at a local Cleveland restaurant. They met at Dante’s in the Tremont neighborhood for a night of reconnecting and reminiscing.

Among those in attendance were Romeo Travis, Willie McGee and Sian Cotton. This season, Travis played professionally overseas for The Mono Vampire Basketball Club in Thailand. It marked his 13th year as an overseas professional basketball player since graduating from the University of Akron in 2007. Noticeably absent from the photo was Dru Joyce III who is currently playing in the postseason for Science City Jena, a professional basketball team based in Jena, Germany.

“Man there’s not many things I love more in this world than linking back up with my brothers!! James said in the Instagram post. “Over 25 years and counting! Man I wish/want to do this more often but I swear when we do link I never take it for GRANTED!! LOVE YOU BOYS!!!”
