LeBron Jr.’s teammate challenged LeBron to a 3-point shootout

LeBron James Jr.’s AAU teammate 14-year old Gabe Cupps learned a lesson many NBA players over the last 16 years have learned: you come at the King, you best not miss.

During the weekend’s Nike EYBL event in Dallas, Texas, Cupps decided to challenge LeBron to a do-or-die 3-point shootout. It looked for a while that Cupps had LeBron tight, but Cupps eventually missed while LeBron made his final attempt before giving him a couple of hilarious smirks after it was over.

Cupps challenging LeBron, his teammate’s Dad, wasn’t a random occurrence but it created a really cool moment for both involved. Cupps also got LeBron off his seat earlier in the weekend with his shooting over the weekend. LeBron and Bronny Jr. also shared some great moments together at the weekend’s tournament.
