The Nike LeBron 17 is already seeing some on-court action … with LeBron James.
From the moment LeBron launched his NBA career, he became Nike’s most important athlete not named Michael Jordan. That partnership has led to one of the company’s most successful signature shoe lines, and the latest LeBron sneaker appears to be on its way very soon.
LeBron posted a video to his Instagram Story on Wednesday, and he could be seen wearing the unreleased Nike sneaker during a workout. Though Nike hasn’t officially announced a release date for the shoes, they have typically dropped in early September.
The social-media posts from LeBron himself should probably be a good sign of more to come.
That #WashedKing hashtag is also something.
Back in June, he was seen wearing the sneakers in a photo with French soccer phenom Kylian Mbappe.
He’s also teased the shoes on Instagram, which somewhat resemble both the LeBron 15 and 16 sneakers.
