LeBron James is so busy between filming “Space Jam 2” and preparing for a new season with Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers that he needs a little load management when it comes to basketball scenes in his next appearance on the big screen.
On Wednesday, Warner Bros. announced that Sheldon Bailey will be LeBron’s body double in basketball scenes that will appear in the reboot of the 1996 Looney Toons classic. Bailey is no stranger to working in place of LeBron; he has been a double for him in the past.
Bailey also has been the main character in the NBA 2K series in 2018 and 2019. He shared on his Instagram a photo with him and Lil’ Wayne from a Nike basketball commercial shoot back in 2010.
Although James has been busy filming on the set all summer, he’s reportedly trying to organize a mini-camp for the Lakers before training camp officially starts. And after a brutally disappointing first season with the Lakers, LeBron definitely needs the help on the movie set as he tries to win over Laker Nation.
“Space Jam 2” is set to hit theaters in 2021.
