LeBron James continues to add huge names from the worlds of sports and entertainment to help the new non-profit “More Than a Vote,” and ahead of another day of primaries across the nation, he welcomed the Super Bowl MVP to the team, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
James also made the announcement at the same time that they are opening registration for a mailing list.
James also made a point to say that while he knows many things need to change, he believes starting with preserving and defending the right to vote for Americans, particularly Black Americans is the best place to begin.
James also shared a new video from “More Than a Vote,” showing the history of athletes fighting for civil rights from the past century and also athletes of present-day heading out to protests in the streets of American cities all over the country that are demanding social and racial justice.
