LeBron James was one of many hundreds of thousands to tune into Wednesday night’s Verzuz battle between Snoop Dogg and DMX. Both MCs played their hits which extend over several decades and the type of lyrical excellence on display on Wednesday night was enough to get LeBron James hyped about it in the comments.
James himself is obviously a passionate hip-hop fan and when things are relatively normal, he will usually bring us in on the music he is sampling while he is going between work and home. But James was excited and moved to post in all caps while watching Snoop and DMX trade hits.
While Wednesday was definitely a battle, it was also pretty awesome to watch considering how both rappers hyped each other up while doing their respective songs. As we have heard, LeBron has been moving pretty freely throughout the campus, but he made sure not to miss tonight’s battle. His Lakers teammate Jared Dudley was also in the comments on Wednesday, so the Lakers keep doing things together, even while in their own hotel rooms.
