LeBron James wants Ohio State to score 100 points against Florida Atlantic

As is a well-documented fact about the life of LeBron James, he skipped college to go straight to the NBA out of high school. But his Akron, Ohio roots have always given him a college football team to throw his allegiances behind: the Ohio State Buckeyes. And on Saturday morning, the Buckeyes gave one of their biggest fans plenty of reason to be excited as they made quick work of Florida Atlantic in the first half of their Week 1 game.

LeBron’s former teammate and current ESPN personality Kendrick Perkins tweeted about Ohio State jumping out to a quick 28-0 lead against FAU, suggesting they may try to score 100 points. LeBron then jumped in and said that’s exactly what he’s hoping for.

The Buckeyes currently have the ball again early in the 2nd quarter of their game while holding a 28-0 lead.

In addition to being a huge fan of the team, LeBron is also one of the football program’s biggest boosters as he has outfitted the team with several exclusive versions of his LeBron Soldier football cleats.
