LeBron James' LA Lakers future may have been called into question by some , but now two high profile stars have been linked.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will arrive at Los Angeles this summer according to Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless.
Following their failure to qualify for the play-offs, the pressure is growing to seriously overhaul the squad.
When the trade window re-opens fans will be watching closely and in-the-know Bayless believes the pair would switch.
He said: "There are two players out there who like to go against the grain, who like to shock the world, who like to go against what social media is telling them to do. That is KD and Kyrie.
"They might just say, on a whim on July 1, 'you know, let's go help LeBron win another championship'.
"KD's got two houses here, I don't know if Kyrie has one here.
"Would that be enough? Yes it would be enough. That's fire power! Plus it's addition by subtraction because you've got KD out of Golden State.
"Kevin Durant did say a couple months back, it's 'toxic' around LeBron because of those fan boys in the media who over protect him and you have to live with that day-in and day-out.
"Would KD subject himself? He doesn't care, that doesn't bother him. Yeah, he would do it but would anybody else?"
The analyst's colleague Colin Cowherd meanwhile thinks LeBron should be sacrificed by the Lakers if it means they can get their hands on Zion Williamson.
"LeBron's better than Zion, but in the history of business, when has trading a decline asset for a rising asset not been the only choice a grown up would make?" he said.
"This is not a difficult task. LeBron is a declining asset, an expensive asset."
He added: "He is a massive brand. The only reason you wouldn't make this move is fear."
"LeBron would be an easy guy to trade, because he wasn't even loyal to Cleveland. The downside to being willing to get divorces is that people feel less guilty when they divorce you.
"Trading Magic would have been an outrage in Los Angeles, trading Kobe - pickets."
