LeBron James’ pre-game chalk toss was one of the coolest rituals in the NBA for years, but James abandoned the tradition in 2014 and hasn’t brought it back since.
According to James, though, the chalk toss may make a triumphant return in 2019. James replied to Timeless Sports, an account that shares throwback photos, writing that the chalk toss may return “this coming year until forever.”
James broke out a chalk clap in the preseason with the Lakers last year.
