LeBron James supports Bubba Wallace after Trump targets him on Twitter

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was one of many to show support to NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace after Wallace was the subject of a tweet from President Donald Trump.

Trump accused Wallace of lying about seeing a noose in his garage, saying that it was a “hoax,” while also suggesting that NASCAR made a mistake by outlawing the Confederate flag from their premises. Wallace responded to Trump’s tweet with a statement.

That statement was then amplified by LeBron James, who has been one of the biggest allies and advocates for Wallace over the past few weeks as Wallace has been more vocal in speaking out against racism as the lone Black driver in NASCAR.

LeBron has been as vocal as ever in support of Wallace and of course, he is no stranger in taking on the President when he uses his platform to attack citizens, especially his fellow athletes, such as Wallace and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.
