LeBron James still loves watching Carmelo Anthony get buckets

The Los Angeles Lakers will get back to work later this evening when they face off against the Los Angeles Clippers for their second preseason game and LeBron James is unlikely to suit up as the Lakers will likely continue resting their front end players in the exhibition season. But while he probably won’t have a lot to do tonight, that should give LeBron plenty of time to watch the other preseason games around the league. In particular, James can take some time to tune in to watch his buddy Carmelo Anthony, whom he still enjoys seeing get buckets.

Anthony had 21 points for the Portland Trail Blazers in their preseason game and he was doing all of the classic Carmelo moves, with the jab step and getting buckets. Even in his 18th season, after briefly being out of the league, he’s still a “walking bucket,” according to his buddy and fellow 2003 draft mate.

Also since Sunday is a big day of NFL action, James will probably be just fine watching the action from the bench.
