LeBron James has been so busy this summer between training, filming “Space Jam 2” and stopping in Ohio for his LeBron James Family Foundation events that he even skipped out on the most recent episode of “The Shop.” But he also had an additional job he had to do while he was in his hometown of Akron, Ohio: filming a commercial for the pizza chain he’s a part owner in.
The folks at the Akron Beacon Journal have footage of LeBron pacing up and down a block in downtown Akron with a stack of pizzas from Blaze Pizza. James gave the pizza to someone who was part of the commercial. The pizzas were eventually given away to people who were looking on, according to the report.
James was already in Akron earlier this week to stop by the I Promise public school, where they unveiled new expansions to the school and a vibrant new outdoor basketball court. He also reunited with his high school teammates known as the “Fab Five” during his visit.
