With the premiere of tonight’s first episode of “The Last Dance,” the topic of who is the Greatest of All Time between LeBron James and Michael Jordan has dominated social media. But as far as one of the people involved in the debate, they wanted to shout out the guy that many use in debates about him.
LeBron James wears No. 23 for a reason and he has never shied away from stating how much he respects Michael Jordan. Over the past couple of weeks, LeBron has cheered on the release of “The Last Dance.” And even on the day that the documentary was released, LeBron shared his admiration for the guy who helped him, like many of us of the same age, develop their love of basketball.
While the rest of the next few weeks will likely be filled with people debating who is better, its important to remember that the recognition between eras is important to understanding the future of the game.
