LeBron James sends message to two Liverpool players after Crystal Palace win

Liverpool’s game against Crystal Palace on Saturday caught the attention of one of the club’s most famous supporters.

The Reds ran out 3-0 winners over the Eagles at Anfield, thanks to goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita.

Jurgen Klopp’s side moved to the top of the table with victory over Palace, and maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Salah’s strike was his 99th in the Premier League for Liverpool and 130th in all competitions since arriving on Merseyside.

The game was also Salah’s 150th appearance in the top flight for the Reds in what is now his fifth season at the club.

NBA star LeBron James, who is now a part owner of Liverpool, took to Twitter to show his praise for the Liverpool forward.

Quoting a tweet posted by the club commemorating Salah’s milestone, James posted several clapping hand emojis, followed by a heart.

The game was also Virgil van Dijk’s 100th appearance in the Premier League for Liverpool, and James also did the same thing for the Dutchman on Twitter.

James has been a club stakeholder for 10 years after buying his share in the Reds for £4.7m in 2011, before he became a minor partner in Fenway Sports Group, the club's owners, earlier this year.
