LeBron James sends get-well wishes to Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes

LeBron James, like most of the football-loving community, feared for the worst when they saw reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes go down in Thursday night’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. Although it sounds like Mahomes and the Chiefs dodged a worst-case scenario, there was no way to know that last night. Which is why LeBron sent a get-well-soon message to Mahomes via Twitter.

Obviously, as someone who has been at the pinnacle of his sport, LeBron has a strong appreciation for Mahomes, who suffered a knee dislocation in the game.

Luckily for the Chiefs, quarterback Matt Moore came in to make a few plays and help them knock off the Broncos. Also, luckily for LeBron and all of us who love watching athletic excellence, it sounds like Mahomes avoided serious injury.

In hopes of avoiding any injuries in the Lakers’ preseason finale, LeBron and Anthony Davis will both sit out their meeting with the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco.
