LeBron James has been making a habit this summer of showing his early wake up times, sometimes as early as 3 in the morning, before his long days of work on the Space Jam 2 set as well as his workout regimen to prepare for the coming Lakers season. But Saturday’s workout was different and it was because his son Bronny James emulated his father’s early wake up call by playing ball in front of their L.A. home at 5 a.m.
According to LeBron, seeing his eldest son put in work that way brought him to tears on the way to his own workout.
LeBron’s teammate and the father of Bronny’s Sierra Canyon teammate Dwyane Wade saluted Bronny for getting up early to do the work required to get better at the game. Bronny was just in China, being followed by mobs of fans with his new Sierra Canyon team. It’s going to be quite a year of basketball in L.A.
