LeBron James says Tom Brady’s Super Bowl win ‘inspiring’ for him

If his tweets during the final moments of Sunday’s Super Bowl weren’t an indication that LeBron James was thrilled by Tom Brady winning his 7th Super Bowl, James addressed Sunday’s game and what the performance from the 43-year old Brady meant to him following Monday night’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As someone who is both the league’s elder statesman and at the top of his game, LeBron found the performance by Brady inspirational. James was asked about the Super Bowl on Monday night and during his interview, he also said that he doesn’t have any idea when he might walk away from the game.

“For him to win another one yesterday in the fashion that he won, it was pretty cool. It was very inspiring for a guy like myself.”

The Lakers escaped Monday night’s game against the Thunder despite most of the team struggling from the outside but managed to get a win, moving them to 19-6, just a half-game back of the Utah Jazz for the NBA’s best record.
