LeBron James says Lakers ‘definitely missed’ Kyle Kuzma

LeBron James isn’t hiding how he feels about the impending return of third year forward Kyle Kuzma, one of the few young players who survived the exodus of the past summer leading to the Los Angeles Lakers acquisition of Anthony Davis. Kuzma’s status as one of the last remaining draftees from the Lakers down years has also led to an attachment among Lakers fans, but LeBron the player is thrilled to have him back.

According to James, the Lakers “definitely missed” what Kuz brought to the table over the past couple of months that he was out. LeBron also likes what he’s seen from Kuzma since coming back to the practice court.

One of the biggest areas where Kuzma has a chance to make an impact, especially as far as LeBron is concerned, is his ability to score the ball when he gets it. LeBron may be the best player ever when it comes to finding open players on the perimeter and Kuzma showed he could move off the ball well to score, but he did struggle shooting the ball from the outside.

One game won’t be enough to determine whether you should buy or sell Kuzma’s growth as a 3-point shooter, but LeBron is excited to have a new toy to play with on the offensive end.
