LeBron James says ‘it would be great’ for Lakers to visit Biden White House

Ever since the Cleveland Cavaliers visited the Obama White House in the fall of 2016, no NBA Champion has returned to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Ironically enough, it could be another LeBron James-led squad that will break the drought of NBA Champions visiting the President to mark their year of excellence, but amid the pandemic, there is nothing immediately on the horizon.

The subject of potentially visiting the Joe Biden White House came up in Thursday night’s post-game press conference with LeBron James after their 113-106 win over the Milwaukee Bucks, which sounds like a pretty fun idea to LeBron James, even though nobody on the team has talked about it actually happening yet, according to USA TODAY’s own Mark Medina.

The Lakers currently do not have any games scheduled against the Washington Wizards, but the NBA could eventually add that to the schedule when they put together the games for the second half of the season. The Lakers just finished their first game of a seven-game Eastern Conference road trip.
