Take a minute and visualize what it could have been to be Tony Romo in 2011, if LeBron James had signed a contract offered to him by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, with LeBron, Dez Bryant, and Jason Witten all at his disposal. But LeBron never fully visualized that reality and less than a year later, he won his first NBA Championship. However, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t close. In fact, James said that he was adding more football-type workouts with his trainer Mike Mancias during the 2011 NBA lockout, in preparation of a switch in sports. James detailed what he did, including more sled drills, during his appearance on UNINTERRUPTED’s YouTube channel from Monday.
LeBron played football in high school but didn’t play during his senior year due to the fact he was the best basketball player in the country. Ultimately, LeBron definitely made the right decision, but everyone will always wonder how Bron would have fared on Sundays. Tony Romo probably wonders every day.
