LeBron James salutes Dirk Nowitzki for passing Wilt Chamberlain

When it comes to rising up the NBA record books, nobody else currently in the NBA can relate to what Dirk Nowitzki did on Monday night more than LeBron James.

Nowitzki made history on Monday, passing Wilt Chamberlain for 6th on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list in Dallas’ loss on Monday night to the New Orleans Pelicans. James, who recently passed Michael Jordan for 4th on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list, gave a shout out to his former Finals foe.

The Lakers and Mavericks don’t play each other anymore this season. However, it’s not confirmed that LeBron and Dirk have played their last game against each other. While many have speculated that this is Dirk’s last season, he’s yet to officially announce his retirement.
