LeBron James is going home with an All-Star game win for the fifth straight season as Team LeBron topped Team Durant, 163-160.
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry took home the All-Star MVP award after dropping a 50-piece that included 16 made 3-pointers, an All-Star game record. Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo had a strong two-way game with 30 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block.
But LeBron had the final say as he hit the game-winning shot to reach the target score of 163. Zach LaVine and Joel Embiid tried to defend it, but James’ one-legged fadeaway that had a rainbow release went in, capping off his stat line of 24 points, eight assists, six rebounds, three steals and a block.
James reacted to making the shot in Cleveland on his Instagram, and the caption included his infamous phrase from 2016:
“CLEVELAND!!!!!!! This is for you. AGAIN”
