With less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter and the shot clock under five seconds, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James put the ball on the floor and drove left against Sacramento Kings center Damian Jones.
De’Aaron Fox came to provide help defense but James finished a tough left-handed layup while getting fouled, turned toward the Kings’ bench and emphatically said “I’m a (expletive) problem, (expletive).”
That basket put the exclamation mark on a night where LeBron scored 31 points, including 14 in the final 12 minutes, after struggling for the first three quarters.
Prior to that make, James had hit two 3s and two layups in the quarter to take the lead and hold off the Kings.
LeBron took to Instagram to react to that clutch and-1 basket that essentially sealed the game:
James has now scored at least 30 points in eight of his last nine games.
