Even though the way he was expressing it is something most of us can only think about, it does look like LeBron James is as excited for the upcoming NBA season as the rest of us are.
Even though LeBron was in Dad Mode watching his eldest son Bronny Jr. play this weekend in Las Vegas, something compelled James to participate in the layup lines with Bronny’s squad and also give the fans in attendance something to talk about with some fantastic throwdowns.
LeBron also appeared to be wearing the Atomic Violent LeBron 16s that are scheduled to come out in late August, which will likely be a winner with Lakers fans. It also may have helped excite LeBron that Las Vegas was once again the center of the basketball universe, with several tournaments in Vegas as well as the WNBA All-Star Game at Mandalay Bay.
But the most likely answer is that LeBron, like the rest of us, can’t wait for the NBA season to finally get here. For the first time in a long time, there is no clear-cut championship favorite and several of the NBA’s top players are skipping the FIBA World Cup in order to focus on what should be an exciting season.
