LeBron James pulled off a ridiculous behind-the-back assist in mid-air

The Los Angeles Lakers blew out the Warriors Wednesday night in their third of four preseason matchups against Golden State, with LeBron James posting a double-double (18 points, 11 assists) in just 25 minutes.

James seems to have build a solid connection with new Lakers sharpshooter Danny Green, who drained a three late in the third quarter off a circus assist from LeBron. Driving to the bucket at full-speed in transition, James elevated against two defenders, turned 180 degrees in the air and fired a no-look pass behind his head directly to Green in the corner to set up an easy shot.

Green didn’t even need to move to catch the pass.

The Lakers will play the Warriors again at the Chase Center on Friday before starting the regular season Tuesday “on the road” against the Clippers.
