LeBron James passes Michael Jordan for 4th on All-Time scoring list

An isolation mid-range jumper tied him with Jordan midway through the 2nd quarter, setting up his next basket for the record. Then LeBron James passed Michael Jordan for 4th on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list with a left-handed lay-up, which he finished with a foul.

While it’s been a tough season for the Lakers, the fans in attendance gave him a standing ovation and he was surrounded by folks such as friend and musical collaborator 2 Chainz courtside.

James shared how ‘unreal’ he was feeling prior to the game. James was emotionally moved after the play.

It was a tough start for LeBron on his way to passing Jordan on Wednesday. He missed 4 straight free-throw attempts, a marker of a career-worst season at the line but nothing more than that as he hit back-to-back 3-pointers immediately after.

While James is always the focal point of his teams, he took on an even greater creative role as the Lakers were without Brandon Ingram for the second straight game due to a shoulder injury. It also appeared that the Lakers were resigned to their fate of not making the playoffs, putting up little resistance against an elite Denver squad.

LeBron’s record-setting moment was unfortunately the lone positive as they trailed by 15 after James’ record-setting and-1.
