LeBron James passes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most points in NBA history combining playoffs

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is now the NBA’s all-time leading scorer counting the playoffs, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

James hit a triple against the Golden State Warriors that pushed him to 44,152 points, which broke the tie he had with Abdul-Jabbar.

This isn’t the same record as the all-time leading scorer in the regular season, but it’s still an incredible mark for the 19-year veteran.

James is averaging 29.1 points per game this season, and he’ll continue inching closer to Karl Malone for the No. 2 spot with this pace. Abdul-Jabbar also holds the No. 1 spot in the regular season list.
