LeBron James on Grizzlies matchup: ‘We can’t be looking past nobody’

LeBron James knows that his Los Angeles Lakers can’t skip any steps if they  hope to vault back into the playoff picture with only 23 games left to play.

At least at Monday morning’s shootaround in Memphis, James spoke of the urgency that the Lakers need to play with, starting tonight against a lowly Grizzlies team that has only five wins in 2019.

James, who questioned the commitment of his teammates following Saturday’s disappointing loss to an Anthony Davis-less New Orleans squad, confronted the reality of the Lakers situation heading into tonight.

From Kyle Goon of the Southern California News Group.

The Lakers are 16-11 this season against teams below .500 and the Houston Rockets are the only team in the playoff picture have 16 wins or less against sub-.500 teams.
