Even if Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo remains on a minutes restriction on Friday night, tonight’s matchup against the LeBron James is seen by many as a night where LeBron passes the torch.
When James was asked about passing the torch by Yahoo’s Chris Haynes, he had this to say.
“[Expletive], it’s going to happen someday,” he told Yahoo Sports. “[Expletive], MJ had to pass that thing, didn’t he? We’ll see.”
However, when specifically asked about the play of Antetokounmpo, he spoke about the evolution he’s had from entering the league as an unknown to becoming the likely MVP.
