LeBron James, like probably everybody in or from the Cleveland area, is extremely hyped this evening. And for LeBron’s part, it has nothing to do with breaking a five-game losing streak.
James is feeling what everyone in his hometown is currently feeling: excitement over the the Cleveland Browns trade for New York Giants superstar receiver Odell Beckham Jr. James and Beckham have been friends for quite a few years and the star receiver was also a guest on the first episode of HBO’s ‘The Shop.’
The Beckham trade continues a great streak for Cleveland as they have successes that James is far removed from, as I have chronicled below. The Cavs have been having a good time since Kevin Love returned and now the Browns have one of James’ best buds.
James’ first season in Los Angeles hasn’t gone as planned and it seems everyone in Cleveland is having fun without him. But at least on the football front, he’s in a position to enjoy it.
