LeBron James mixes up Nuggets forward for James Bond actor Daniel Craig

LeBron James was having some fun on twitter last night during the late game of yesterday’s NBA Playoffs, Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinal series between the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers.

James has tweeted sparingly during his first free April in 13 years, but last night he was very online because he saw lots of players wearing his signature shoes in the game. Portland’s Moe Harkless and Meyers Leonard, as well as Denver’s Torrey Craig, all were wearing LeBron 16s.

LeBron made sure to give a shout out to all of them, except he got a little confused on Craig. He accidentally referred to the Nuggets starting small forward as ‘Daniel Craig,’ the current James Bond. James quickly realized his mistake and deleted the tweet, but we got it for posterity.

LeBron quickly followed up with a joke.

James seems to be enjoying his time away from the game and a rare time for him while he is still playing to be a fan of the game. But hopefully for the NBA, he doesn’t make missing the playoffs a habit.
