LeBron James meets with Billie Jean King after Lakers win: ‘It was an honor to meet you legend’

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers scored a feel-good win on Friday night over the Charlotte Hornets, while also hurting the Hornets playoff hopes. After James did work with 27 points and nine assists in the win, he caught up with someone else who completely changed the sports landscape: tennis legend Billie Jean King.

James shared a photo with the tennis legend on his Instagram, saying how honored he was to meet her. A native of Long Beach, California, Billie Jean King won 39 grand slams in all competitions, including 12 singles wins.

She also shared the moment on her Instagram page, crediting Rich Paul for making the meeting between the two Kings of the Court happen.
