LeBron James made a courtside appearance at Sunday’s Big 3 Final

Rather than get out of town during the Labor Day weekend, LeBron James decided to stay home in Los Angeles and also catch Sunday’s Big 3 Final at the Staples Center. James, as well as his agent Rich Paul and his business associate Randy Mims, was courtside for the game along as well as his new Los Angeles Lakers teammate Jared Dudley.

There’s also the chance that LeBron James was doing some scouting on Big 3 MVP Joe Johnson, who has individual workouts scheduled with several NBA teams, including the L.A. Clippers.

The Final was won by Johnson’s Triplets against the Stephen Jackson-led Killer 3s at Staples Center. Johnson went to dap up Rich Paul and LeBron after hitting the game winner.

While the Lakers currently don’t have any open roster spots after signing center Dwight Howard to a non-guaranteed deal, if they do open one up, perhaps they could take a look at Johnson, especially considering the Lakers seem pretty set on not bringing in Carmelo Anthony due to his redundancy with third year forward Kyle Kuzma.
