LeBron James is officially on vacation

Despite contemplating a potential appearance on TNT’s Inside The NBA, LeBron James is otherwise on vacation. Officially. After 13-straight trips to the NBA Playoffs, James appears to be doing everything he can to embrace his time off this postseason. According to a video his wife Savannah shared on Instagram over the weekend, the King is spending his days in a beachside cabana rocking Hawaiian shorts and dancing to the sweet sounds of relaxation.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers general manager, Rob Pelinka, is in the midst of finding LeBron’s new head coach. That list of potential candidates is reported to include Juwan Howard, Monty Williams and James’ former coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Ty Lue. Over the weekend, former Lakers coach Luke Walton agreed to a contract with the Sacramento Kings after being let go by Los Angeles.

If anyone in the NBA deserves some time off this time of year, however, it’s certainly the 34-year-old James. In addition to playing in eight-straight NBA Finals from 2011-18, LeBron has also appeared in 68 games for Team USA Basketball since 2004. His body could certainly use the added rest he’ll be sure to get this summer and he appears to be enjoying every minute of it.
