LeBron James isn’t just making deals with soccer stars or adding Anthony Davis to his squad this summer. And now he’s adding some serious acting firepower to the upcoming ‘Space Jam 2.’
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news yesterday that Don Cheadle would join the cast and LeBron then confirmed the news, saying he was already shooting a scene with Cheadle on the set of the movie, which will also feature Davis and Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard.

While some have had concerns about remaking the 1996 classic, SpringHill Entertainment and Warner Bros. have some serious movie-making talent involved in the project. That Cheadle joins LeBron, as well as producer Ryan Coogler and director Terence Nance.
LeBron has been teasing his followers with little clips here and there from the set, but Cheadle’s involvement is a major addition for the project.
